CM-LA has earned twelve Santa Barbara Beautiful Awards and three Goleta Beautiful Awards.

McClure's greatest acknowledgement came from winning a national competition sponsored by the ASLA, Bureau of Land Management and National Recreation Coalition. He won for a kiosk design that has been placed in perhaps 100 locations at the trail heads of national parks. The design featured one 8” steel I-Beam at a 45 degree angle, placed on one concrete footing which set it apart from all the other entries. McClure attended the first unveiling at Oak Creek Park in Washington DC.

He was thrilled to receive a letter of congratulations from the Dean of Cal Poly’s Department of Architecture and Urban Design. In part, the letter said, “Your achievement reflects wonderfully on all of us.”

McClure has also been honored for his volunteer work at local schools and churches.
